- Akismet v2.1.8 by Matt Mullenweg — Akismet checks your comments against the Akismet web service to see if they look like spam or not. You need a WordPress.com API key to use it. You can review the spam it catches under “Comments.” To show off your Akismet stats just put

- FeedBurner FeedSmith v2.3.1 by FeedBurner — Originally authored by Steve Smith, this plugin detects all ways to access your original WordPress feeds and redirects them to your FeedBurner feed so you can track every possible subscriber.
- Fluency Admin v1.1 by Dean Robinson — WordPress 2.5+ only. A rethink of the WordPress admin interface giving it a slightly more modern application-esque feel, inspired by Steve Smith’s Tiger Admin. Firefox, Safari and IE8 only. IE7 soon.

- HTML Purified v0.3.2 by John Godley — Replaces default HTML filters with HTML Purifier
- Link Harvest v1.1 by Alex King — This will harvest links from your WordPress database, creating a links list sorted by popularity. - Official Comments v1.1 by Brett Taylor — Adds functions to distinguish authorised WP user’s comments.
- SyntaxHighlighter Plus v0.18 by Fred Wu — An advanced upload-and-activate WordPress implementation of Alex Gorbatchev’s SyntaxHighlighter JavaScript code highlighting package. See WordPress.com’s “How do I post source code?” for details.
- Viper’s Plugins Used v1.12 by Viper007Bond — Allows you to display alphabetically what plugins you have enabled on your blog in either a table or unordered list. Also allows you to set custom descriptions for the plugins in the output.
- WP Super Cache v0.8.3 by Donncha O Caoimh — Very fast caching module for WordPress. Once activated, you must enable the cache. Based on WP-Cache by Ricardo Galli Granada.
- WP-ContactForm v1.5 by Ryan Duff, Peter Westwood — WP Contact Form is a drop in form for users to contact you. It can be implemented on a page or a post. It currently works with WordPress 2.0+
